What we collect

Nothing. DogeVault is a static website plus code that executes on your device. We do not run servers that receive, process or store your personal data, and we do not use cookies, pixels, fingerprinting or analytics tools.

What your browser stores

Some data lives in your browser’s localStorage so the wallet can function between visits. It never leaves your device on its own:

• The encrypted vault: your seed phrase encrypted with AES-256-GCM, with the key derived from your password via PBKDF2. Unreadable without the password.
• Your Dogecoin address and interface preferences.
• The current swap order, if one is in progress, so it survives a page reload.
• Cached market data (last known DOGE price and chart points) so the interface works when market APIs are unreachable.

Third-party services the wallet contacts

To read the blockchain and quote prices, the wallet makes requests from your browser to public APIs. These services see your IP address and the data needed to answer the request:

• BlockCypher (Dogecoin, Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum networks): balance lookups, transaction history, UTXOs and broadcasting signed transactions — all tied to your public addresses.
• Gate.io public market API: DOGE/USD price, chart data and the indicative swap rates — no personal data is sent.
• Public chain observers for swaps (BlockCypher, Blockchair, TronGrid, public EVM/Solana/TON/XRP RPC nodes): deposit and payout tracking for the coins you swap — tied only to the public addresses involved in the swap.

What never leaves your device

Your 12-word recovery phrase, private keys and wallet password are generated, encrypted and used exclusively inside your browser. They are never transmitted to us or to any API — not even in encrypted form. Transactions are signed locally; only the already-signed transaction is broadcast.

Deleting your data

Use “Log out” in the dashboard to delete the encrypted vault from the device, or clear the site data in your browser settings to remove everything, including cached prices and swap state. Because we hold nothing on servers, there is nothing else to delete.

Changes to this policy

If the wallet starts using additional public APIs or changes how data is handled, this page will be updated before the change ships. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
